Since Paul Sharp Snr. started the business in 1980, Sharp Decorating has grown to be one of Auckland’s leading painting and decorating companies, specialising in interior and exterior painting, wallpaper hanging, and industrial coatings. Our brand is built on workmanship and trust.
With a large and experienced team of painters and wallpaper hangers, we work with Auckland’s leading builders, construction contractors, designers, and directly with homeowners to provide an efficient and competitive one-stop decorating service.

Paul Snr. founded the business back in 1980 and has over 40 years’ of valuable experience in painting and decorating.
Cole Sharp and Paul James Sharp complete the family team. Cole has a great wealth of industry knowledge with over 15 years’ experience managing projects, driving our business development, and working with our suppliers. Paul James joined the business from a marketing background to lead our internal operations and works closely with our clients and painting teams on-site to ensure a smooth client experience.
Debra manages our back office and finances. With over 30 years in the role, she supports the team with training, contracts, health and safety, and entertainment.
